Nello Allegrucci C.E.C., A.A.C, Executive Chef
Chef Allegrucci has been with Metz Culinary Management for over 13 years, winning numerous gold medals in hot food and ice carving competitions as a member of the American Culinary Federation. Planning special events is his passion, with attention to detail from upscale corporate events to intimate home gatherings.
At the age of 14, Chef Allegrucci began working at a Hilton Hotel as a dish machine operator and as time progressed, he developed a natural passion for food that motivated him to continue his growth as a culinarian. In 1978, Chef Allegrucci attended the Culinary Institute of America, while working as a Sous Chef. In the years to come, he worked as an Executive Chef at various fine dining restaurants eventually launching his career with Metz as chef-manager of Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania's corporate headquarters.
During his tenure with Metz, Chef Allegrucci has been an integral part of the company's elite culinary leadership team. In 2018, Chef Allegrucci played a key role in the opening of Metz Culinary and Catering in Sarasota, where he now resides and serves as Executive Chef.
